The Institute of Politics and the Department of Political Science at Florida State University is proud to host the first annual Elections, Public Opinion, and Voting Behavior conference in Tallahassee, FL.
The conference will take place March 2nd through March 4th, 2023 on the campus of Florida State University. You can find helpful travel information below.
The conference will include panel presentations and poster sessions for faculty and graduate students that will provide opportunity to foster connections among EPOVB members, develop research communities, receive scholarly feedback and disseminate research on Elections, Public Opinion, and Voting Behavior.
Recent political events have raised concerns about the sustainability of democratic processes across the world. Democratic institutions rely on the consent of the governed, and, as such, political participation and engagement are key cornerstones to a strong democracy. Our hope is that this conference will stimulate research that will help foster our understanding of the factors that promote political participation and strengthen civic engagement.
To submit a paper, poster, or roundtable proposal to the conference:
Please provide a one paragraph summary of a paper, poster submission, or roundtable proposal by November 30, 2022.
